The Consumer (CON) Business Unit has an opening for a Director of Business Operations to lead the dynamic, high growth business in the Consumer Segment. The Director of Business Operations will be the driving force behind the analysis of global business operations, process improvements and seamless execution of product delivery. You’ll own the long-range capacity plan, provide critical planning and logistics support, and foster strong relationships with Global Operations, the PMO, and leadership. Your work will empower the organization with actionable insights, cost-saving strategies, and continuous operational improvements, advancing both the business strategy and customer success.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Manage a global team of business operations analysts and New Product Coordinators
Drive improved understanding or the entire CON business strategy through the BU and Sales organizations
Drive operational excellence with samples and product delivery
Advocate for the customer in alignment with BU business goals product development priorities, while communicating customer needs effectively and within the proper context.
Provide planning and logistics support to product development organizations.
Drive Operations continuous improvement
Own the relationship with Global Operations
Provide business analytics, cost savings suggestions, and planning services to multiple product lines.
Ensure new product releases are smooth, collaborative with all other departments, on time and documented properly
Ownership of BUs long range capacity plan
Closely align with PMO and other leadership staff
Skillsets Required
Demonstrated management and leadership skills, with ability to motivate teams and develop talent.
Proven organizational skills, able to manage multiple initiatives and deliverables in a dynamic business atmosphere.
High aptitude for leading change, managing risk, resolving conflicts and problem solving.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with ability to present to and interface with senior executive levels.
Cost control and budgeting skills
Ability to analyze and clearly communicate Key indicators of business health and success
10+ years of business operations experience
This role requires the ability to travel up to 15% of the time including both international and domestic trips.
