Job Summary

Responsible for evaluating and completing training to identify gaps and improve employee performance. Works with moderate supervision/guidance. Is accountable for individual results and impact on team.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Report to work one half hour prior to event door time and check in.
  • Attend staff pre-event meeting if there are no new hires to greet on first night.
  • Be prepared to train new hire.
  • Present process to trainee one step at a time.
  • Effectively communicate key information to new hire.
  • Encourage questions from trainee.
  • Utilize feedback from trainee.
  • Verify trainee comprehends processes.
  • Evaluate trainee and complete evaluation form.
  • Monitor and reinforce to make sure that trainee performs task correctly.
  • Retrain and re-evaluate senior staff when necessary.
  • Be productive and take initiative.
  • Maintain a helpful attitude at all times.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
