  • Service Technician Opportunity
  • Day Shift Schedule: Working hours 38 per week, 8/5 (with an on-call component and call-out / overtime opportunities)
  • Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Perth

Your position.

Working at one of Australia’s most Advanced Picking Solution sites, located in Perth, the Service Technician will be performing Maintenance and Operational duties as instructed/directed including any reactive calls on our Automated Material Handling System to ensure productivity and output, asset availability, health & safety compliance, service quality is optimized in accordance with agreed timescales.

You will work within your assigned shift pattern on electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, involving the maintenance and repair of all site Vanderlande equipment as well as some third party equipment.

The current requirements are day shift, Monday to Friday, including an on-call component with the possibility of extra call-outs to site after-hours (overtime rates).

Responsibilities

  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Ability to serve as a technical contact during incidents for requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Network solutions & PLC control systems (Desirable)
  • Experience of service activities on automated materials handling systems a distinct advantage
  • Methodical approach to the required workflows
  • Flexible attitude to shift work.
  • ASRS Experience is beneficial.
