The Stock Plan Manager manages the company-wide administration and operations related to the long-term incentive plan, the Director flexible stock program and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

The role will provide support to employees, Section 16 officers and outside Directors regarding equity plans, grants and settlements. The role will be responsible for managing the programs via external third-party administrators and consultants, and coordinate with stakeholders including payroll, finance, treasury, and tax., as well as manage the rules and regulations of the company's ESPP (Employee Stock Purchase Plan) policy

The Stock Plan Manager offers support and training to eligible employees as needed and administers cyclical communications and reporting.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Administer and manage the company-wide long-term incentive program, the ESPP program and the Director flexible stock program.
  • Manage third-party administrators and collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Legal, Tax, Payroll, and HR, to communicate materials, compliance, grant processes, settlements and management reports. Conduct required monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting, including information required for regulations reporting.
  • Manage the process of new grants and varied transactions with the knowledge of accounting, legal, and tax implications. Includes the preparation of grant files as needed for each program.
  • Manage all settlements related to plans as required, working in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders adhering to required deadlines.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls for audit purposes. Assist internal and external auditors as required.
  • Administer and execute domestic (US) as well as international ESPP programs including  enrollments and purchases as per local country plans and guidelines.
  • Respond to all executive and employee queries regarding RGA’s stock based programs. Contribute to education materials and communications.
  • Responsible to ensure program standard operating procedures are managed and kept up-to-date reflecting current state. Responsible to enhance efficiencies, processes, and accuracy of data.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state, and applicable foreign regulations and securities laws.
  • Manage relations with all third-party administrators and consultants, as well as relevant brokers.

 

Education and Experience

Required

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Human Resources
  • 7+ years of prior experience with long-term incentive program administration
  • 3+ years experience managing global ESPP programs

Preferred:      

  • Advanced educational degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with global HR systems, Workday
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; strong proficiency in MS Excel. Ability to perform large data set audits, reconciliations, v-lookups, data edits, and complex calculation
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage complex projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Strong experience developing, monitoring, and applying meaningful performance metrics and analytics.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional and confident in collaborating with individuals at all levels of the organization and external vendors/customers.
  • Strategic initiative: the ability to identify issues, develop recommendations, sell ideas, and implement solutions.
  • Proven teamwork skills and excellent communication skills.
  • High integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills are required.

Compensation Range:

$107,060.00 - $159,390.00 Annual

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
