As an Atlassian/Jira Migration Consultant, you will:
Lead and execute migration processes from Jira Server/Data Center to Jira Cloud, including verification, testing, and validation of migrated environments.
Translate business concepts into technical solutions and provide proactive problem-solving for clients.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with outgoing Jira specialists.
Oversee and support integrations between Jira Cloud and other platforms, including pre-go-live testing.
Support migration and setup for newly created Jira Cloud instances.
Manage or participate in projects from consulting and requirements gathering to solution design and implementation in the Atlassian tool stack.
Provide ongoing support for internal Atlassian solutions, including administration, technical services, updates, installations, and scripting.
Collaborate with other teams to extend Jira functionality.
Participate in transformation and cloud migration projects, reviewing existing solutions and preparing for transition.
Support sales teams with technical knowledge of Atlassian products.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by clients.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Proven experience with Jira Server/Data Center setups and end-to-end migrations to Jira Cloud.
Hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Confluence) from an administrator’s perspective, including setting up and configuring Jira instances, managing global permissions, and creating custom workflows, screens, and fields.
Understanding of Atlassian ecosystems, configuration management, and selected marketplace apps.
Experience with Atlassian’s JCMA (Jira Cloud Migration Assistant) and CCMA (Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant).
Experience with Jira integrations.
Ability to create and execute structured migration plans independently.
Strong troubleshooting, validation, and testing capabilities.
Practical experience in implementing business cases in the Atlassian tool stack.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English (B2/C1).
Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to identify business needs and opportunities.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Scripting skills (Bash, Python, SQL, or Groovy) and/or experience with REST APIs.
Atlassian certifications.
Experience validating post-migration setup and data integrity (running predefined scripts).
Experience in global or large companies.

Traveling to work with prestigious clients and deliver large-scale transformational change. We deliver our work in hybrid model, remotely, in our offices but also traveling and working closely with our Clients in their offices. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. That is why traveling declaration, willingness and ability to work at client locations mostly across Europe and beyond, for short or long term, is required.
The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances.
