The Opportunity

The Client Configuration manager is responsible for all aspects of configuring a new IB or PM onboarding to FCC. This includes setting up the new client’s environment and all related set ups and configuration of the FCC products & tools offered to clients. This role works very closely with the FCC Product and Technology teams. This role requires a strong learning and understanding of the main books and records tool used by FCC and how FCC applications are linked to it.

What You Will Do

  • Setting up the IB on Dataphile and corresponding components (test environments & production).
  • Setting up books & records configuration.
  • Understanding IB level and firm level configuration.
  • uniFide platform firm configuration.
  • Understanding the dependencies between the application and the books and records system.
  • Working with client support on user set ups.
  • Working with the appropriate internal teams to setting up client reporting components (statements, confirms, proxies, logos).
  • Setting up overnight reporting that is required by the client.
  • Setting up standard suite of accounts type used for all clients as well as account types that cannot be loaded in an automated manner.
  • Coordinating downstream testing with the client.
  • Working with Application support team to ensure that appropriate vendors are set up, as required by FCC and the client.
  • Understanding any product customization being done for the client and how that impacts the books & records system.
  • Consulting with business partners to refine requirement and be able to explain outcomes.
  • Other duties as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of a post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Dataphile system would be a strong asset.
  • Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power Query.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with configuring web applications.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with version/configuration documents.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with a brokerage books and records system.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira or Appian would be an asset.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of the Canadian brokerage industry in both the retail and institutional segments.
  • Strong analytical & organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, and written communication skills.
