Job Description

As Sustainability Lead, you will develop and implement sustainability strategies across major projects, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and driving best practice initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will influence design, construction, and operational outcomes to achieve project sustainability targets. This role offers the chance to shape industry-leading practices and make a tangible impact on the environment.

About the Project

As we expand into major energy infrastructure programs across regional Victoria, we are seeking experienced professionals with strong high-voltage power and transmission expertise to join our growing team. Acciona is positioning itself to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects from early design through to full construction, encompassing high-voltage transmission works, power network upgrades, and complex substation design, build and commissioning activities. These projects involve the integration of advanced HV systems across multiple regional sites and play a critical role in strengthening Victoria’s future energy network. This is an opportunity to contribute to landmark programs at scale and be part of a team driving the delivery of essential power infrastructure.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
  • Proven experience in sustainability leadership
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and climate strategies
  • Experience delivering ISC Credits
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Valid driver’s licence
