We’re building a pipeline of Software Engineering Interns who are interested in joining our Global Engineering teams in Brno. By applying to this posting, you’ll become part of our talent pool for future opportunities that match your background and experience.
You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, testers, designers, and product managers to build, improve, and maintain Red Hat products used by customers around the world. Depending on your role and level, you may focus on feature development, testing, automation, performance, or open source contributions across technologies such as RHEL, OpenShift, Ansible, and AI-driven solutions.
We’re looking for curious, proactive, and collaborative people who enjoy solving complex problems and want to work in an environment that values openness, learning, and impact.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in Red Hat products (e.g., RHEL, OpenShift, or others)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Documentation
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
Contribute to an open and inclusive engineering culture where ideas are valued and shared
Required Skills
Strong interest or experience in software engineering and open source technologies
Knowledge of or willingness to learn Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
Curiosity, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to collaborate effectively within a global and distributed team
