Job Purpose:

Our Senior Corporate Accountant plays a pivotal role in our finance team, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

● Maintain assigned general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts by reviewing documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations, preparing supporting schedules, recording appropriate journal entries consistent with US GAAP, and reconciling on a monthly basis.
● Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
● Act as the subject matter expert and demonstrate proficiency of local or US GAAP in assigned accounting area, including technical accounting research and documentation.
● Ensure accuracy and completeness of quarterly and annual reporting packages to support SEC filings.
● Ownership of specific optimization initiatives utilizing in house process improvement applications.
● Review financial results for completeness by preparing various reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
● Support various audits by providing accounting documents, schedules, and other relevant information.
● Develop and implement process improvements to eliminate non-value added tasks.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

●Frequent interaction with operation teams in Asia.

●Assist with one or more entity accounts in assigned accounting area(s) to include preparation of supporting schedules, preparation of appropriate journal entries, and reconciliation of account(s).

●Assist with customer invoicing for the customers of Asian one or more entities.

●Assist with the supplier payment plan for Asian one or more entities.

●Assist with tax filing per local requirements for Asian one or more entities.

●Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.

●Develop understanding and proficiency of US and Asian local GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).

Work Experience:

● 5-10 years of related job experience.

Education:

● High School Diploma/GED

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred

● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

● Certified Management Accountant (CMA) - Institute of Management Accountants
