POSITION OVERVIEW
BDC has embarked on its digital transformation and in the process of modernizing its products and services, including the migration of our on-premises CRM to the cloud. As part of this initiative, we are looking for passionate, bilingual candidates who wish to be a key player in this transformation journey and contribute to the evolution of BDC's financing services through their business, technical expertise and sense of innovation.
The selected candidate will join one of the squads within the Customer Management family as a product owner. They participate in some activities of the SSDLC (Secure Software Development Lifecycle) process in agile delivery mode (ie. design, document, develop and deliver user-friendly and scalable technical solutions)
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Ensure adequate communication of the product vision and roadmap for CRM migration project.
Evaluate the value of the work and prioritize to ensure the team focuses on the highest value items aligned with the product vision.
Identify issues to be resolved, collaborate on developing business requirements to prioritize them.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and various stakeholders to realize the product vision.
Be the go-to person for information (business or technical, depending on the context) about the project.
Work in an agile environment and continuously review operational needs, refine priorities, define milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks based on evolving stakeholder needs
Track and communicate the team’s progress to interested stakeholders, which may include teaching them how to access and understand the team’s dashboard.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
University degree in Business Administration or IT/Computer Science or any other related field
5 years of experience as a Product Owner
Recent experience with Microsoft Dynamics Cloud migration project
Experience with Azure Devop & power platform would be considered an asset.
PSPO certification is an asset, as well as experience in the banking sector
Experience and in-depth knowledge of agile & DevOps processes and principles
Experience in developing CRM tools and financing modules, including their ecosystems – an asset.
Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., developers, QA, BA, Scrum Master, etc.)
Interest in the evolving needs of entrepreneurs and the realities of their ecosystems
Recognized skills in stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where objectives must be met within tight deadlines and sometimes with incomplete data
Growth-oriented, always curious to learn, and accustomed to problem-solving mode
Bilingual in English and French.
