Job Description

About The Role – Enterprise Account Executive DACH / Western Europe

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from start to close for our mid-market and enterprise customers in the DACH or Western Europe region (two separate positions). You bring a minimum of 7 years of complex solution selling experience in the industrial software space of which at least 3 years should be in manufacturing. You have a track record of sales excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales process from initial discovery through to value proposition, project requirements definition, proposal preparation, and finally deal close
  • Carry an annual sales quota
  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders in corporate accounts over the course of the sales cycle
  • Evangelize and effectively communicate the value of the product and company to customers and stakeholders at all levels
  • Work with leads provided by marketing and the outbound sales team as well as sourcing your own deals from your existing network
  • Utilize CRM to report sales activity with timely and accurate status updates

Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT and related technologies
  • Ability to articulate the value drivers and challenges of industrial modernization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or 4-year business degree
  • 7+ years of experience selling industrial software products, preferably into manufacturing
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills in English and German (DACH position) respectively French (Western Europe position).  
  • Previous experience with IIoT, Edge Computing and/or Big Data preferred
  • History of closing mid to large enterprise accounts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to create content and author proposals for enterprise software products
  • Effective negotiation skills and overall business acumen
  • Must be a results-oriented, self-motivated professional who is able to work independently or with a team and requires little management to achieve results
  • Proactive and positive team player with the ability to work closely with team members across the organization and positively influence others to achieve sales goals
