Job Description Summary

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customers for assigned wind farm on daily work.

  • Develop and maintain service budget, actively monitor and control business expenses by consulting with Hub Manager

  • Direct central support teams to raise purchase requests for parts, consumables and engineering support as required

  • Schedule team meetings to ensure GE’s policies and procedures are adhered to by the team

  • Regularly inspect, in-person, the progress and quality of service site activities

  • Maintain reports using GE’s various software management tools and databases Job

  • Manage the site teams to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the organization policies and procedures

  • Interact with and provide Hub leader regular reports & updates

  • Implement GEV EHS procedures

  • Review EHS findings and ensure actions are taken to correct reported deficiencies

  • Work with the Sub region EHS Manager/Specialist for all management of contractors, including but not limited to ensuring that contractors are appropriately screened before appointment and that their performance is regularly reviewed

  • Facilitate field working team to execute work plan

  • Provide technical advice to Field Engineers incase instruction are needed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in WTG maintenance, and/or WF site operation

  • Well knowledge of WTG components, and able to provide technical advice to Field Engineer.
