Job Description:
A highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a strong background in Java development to contribute. This role is focused on hands-on technical contribution, requiring expertise in modern software development practices, passion for high quality code and a pro-active approach to system reliability  and performance.

 

Responsibilities : 
- Hands on development : Design, develop and implement critical components within the core prime-brokerage platform using Java
- Agile and Devops contribution : Actively participate in an agile development environment, applying and continuously improving continuous integration (CI) and Continuous development (CD) practices, Implement and maintain developer led automated testing solutions.
- Technical Analysis : Perform detailed technical analysis of assigned work items, breaking work into individual technical tasks.
- Requirement Collaboration : Collaborate closely  with business analysis and stake holders to clarify and refine technical requirements
- Technical Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation
- Production support and reliability : Assist in production support, working closely with operation teams to diagnose and resolve escalated issues. Contribute to documentation and post-mortem reviews, and implement software enhancements to improve reliability.

 

Technical Experience : 
- Essential
:
   -  Strong proficiency in Java. 
   - Extensive experience with Test driven development (TDD)

- Highly Advantageous (Experience in anys of the following)
   - Cloud Technologies : Kubernetes, OpenShift
   - Messaging Technologies : Apache Kafka, Solace, TIBCO
   - Database/Data Store/ Data Query Technologies : SQL Server, Mongo DB, AWS S3
   - Observability Technologies: OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack(ELK). Grafana
