Safety & Quality:
- Reviews and applies job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed
- Supports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysis
- Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws including PPE, COHE (lockout /tagout) and chemical safety
- Follows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with collaborators
- Actively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours)
- Leads quality improvement initiatives to reduce Fab impacts and improve efficiency
Communication & Collaboration:
- Partners with key stakeholders to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metrics
- Coordinates with stakeholders and leaders on issues and changes, and provides regular status updates
- Performs project cost estimates, forecasts, project cash flows and capital budget acquisition
- Controls and monitors budget and project spending against the approved funds
- Controls scope during the design and construction phases to maintain cost and schedule control
- Prepares and maintains monthly cash flow projections
- Ensures requirements of ECBP are followed
Project Management/Planning:
- Uses a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize and manage projects
- Collaborates with stakeholders to secure timely funding, develop overall project strategy and critical path schedule
- Manages projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget
- Tracks actions and provides escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time
- Defines and leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to Micron
- Ensures regular communication to stakeholders of project status, roadblocks, and path to success
- Clarifies and documents project scope and ensures necessary input from appropriate stakeholders
- Ensures that scope meets requestor needs
- Collaborates with consultant resources
- Coordinates and leads meetings and initiates follow-up actions
- Follows change management procedures
- Works with appropriate personnel to address problems or make corrections
- Supports of develops RFQs for construction activities and leads vendor selection
- Manages vendor contract during execution of projects
- Manages the project programming and development activities
- Collaborates with Procurement and Global Facilities to manage competitive bidding processes aligned to selected project strategy
- Identifies, obtains and adjusts project resources as needed
- Develops detailed resource loaded project schedules and tracks performance
- Manages project financials and tracks performance to budget and work in place
- Manages project conflicts that arise as routing, timing, or labor issues
Technical/Data Analysis:
- Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings
- Provides effective and timely guidance to resolve issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution
- Provides troubleshooting support for complex problems and addresses root cause
- Performs problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies
- Supports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysis
- Partners with key stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for efficiencies
- Maintains applicable discipline knowledge
- Supports a culture of TPM
- Manages the project programming and development activities
Qualifications:
- Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to communicate complex analysis in a succinct and actionable manner
- Proven ability to plan, drive and complete projects effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups and disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to organize and lead meetings and project teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, follow complex procedures, and work with minimal supervision
- Advanced PC skills including a proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex problems and address root causes
- Proven ability to communicate and present technical information effectively to all audiences
- Strong understanding of data extraction, data analysis and reporting methodologies
- Proven project management skills to include project estimation, budget management, schedule development (milestones, critical patch, resource loading, percent achieved, and detailed task)
- Proven ability to work under strict deadlines and in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to be guided by project or department objectives to independently determine best methods for delivering results
Education and Experience:
- Required: Minimum – Relevant degree or appropriate certification/licensing; Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management or 5 Years Tool Install Project Management Experience in lieu of degree.
- Preferred: Certification in Project Management (PMP)
