Together, we help drive sustainable business growth for our clients
See Yourself in Our Team
Our Business Banking division supports over 10,000 clients nationally, focusing on medium to large enterprises with turnovers between $30M and $150M, and lending needs from $10M to $50M. We deliver tailored solutions across cash flow, equipment finance, trade, markets, transactional banking, and home lending.
This role sits within a high-performing team that partners with the exciting and complex end of town. Based in Sydney CBD near Darling Harbour, you’ll work on large-scale commercial deals with sophisticated clients across diversified portfolios, offering exposure to a wide range of industry segments. The team has a strong focus on cash flow lending and an exposure to commercial property investors, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with deep credit expertise.
Do Work That Matters
We’re seeking a Senior Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Credit Analyst ready to step up, or a current Senior Associate looking to deepen their exposure to larger, more complex transactions.
A key part of this role involves coaching and developing the credit capability of less experienced analysts in the team. You’ll bring at least 2 years of solid credit analysis and writing experience in business or commercial banking, and a passion for mentoring others.
Your Role Will Involve:
Financial modelling and analysis for commercial clients
Preparing credit submissions and coordinating documentation and funding
Maintaining portfolio data quality, compliance, and reporting
Conducting annual reviews and monitoring client performance
Building strong relationships with internal product and risk teams
Structuring and presenting credit merits, identifying and mitigating risks
Supporting the development of junior analysts through coaching and guidance
What We’re Looking For:
Strong credit writing skills and commercial acumen
Proven ability to analyse financial statements and forecasts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in business/commercial banking client service
Ability to quickly grasp complex, new-to-bank transactions and risks
Tertiary qualification in business, finance, or commerce preferred
