Role Overview
PTC is looking for a technically strong and collaborative Senior Partner Technical Strategist with 5+ years of experience to support and enable our partner ecosystem. This role acts as a key technical interface between PTC and partners, ensuring solutions are designed, built, and delivered in alignment with PTC architecture, standards, and best practices.
The role requires hands‑on technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide partners through solution design, integrations, and migrations across Windchill and Codebeamer.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical interface for partners within PTC, identifying enablement gaps, tooling needs, and best‑practice requirements
- Serve as a consistent technical voice of PTC, evangelizing platform architecture, APIs, and technical guidance to partners
- Review and validate partner solution designs and customer proposals during pre‑sales and early design phases
- Guide partners in building solutions, customizations, and integrations aligned with PTC architecture principles and solution guardrails
- Respond to partner technical inquiries related to architecture, APIs, extensions, deployment models, and SaaS practices for Windchill and Codebeamer
- Support partners through migrations to PTC Solutions, including upgrades from earlier PTC versions to newer releases
- Collaborate with PTC Technical Support, Product Management, and Field teams to resolve partner‑facing technical issues
- Assess partner technical readiness by evaluating skills, implementation approaches, and solution maturity
- Recommend training paths, certifications, and enablement materials aligned to partner roles and solution focus
- Support partners in setting up and maintaining PTC‑based lab environments for prototyping, testing, and customer demos
- Evangelize new PTC solution features, tools, APIs, and documentation to ensure partners stay current
Your Day‑to‑Day
- Engage with partner architects and engineers on solution design and implementation topics
- Review technical proposals and integration approaches
- Provide hands‑on guidance for configuration, customization, and integration use cases across Windchill and Codebeamer
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience working with PTC technologies or enterprise software platforms
- Strong technical expertise in PTC Windchill, with working knowledge of Codebeamer and Creo
- Experience designing or supporting customizations, integrations, and extensions on PTC platforms
- Understanding of SaaS fundamentals, cloud deployment models, security principles, and CI/CD concepts
- Familiarity with pre‑sales technical validation and solution feasibility assessments
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate solutions clearly and effectively
- Proven collaboration skills across partners, product teams, and internal stakeholders
