We are currently looking for a Sales & Production Planning Sr. Specialist to join our Sales team. With the objective of ensuring, managing, and communicating product availability to meet the business plan and align with the company’s strategy, this executive will coordinate with the Planners and Scheduler team on production planning, sales, and inventory level control.
A Typical Day at Nissan:
Provide visibility to commercial, financial, and operational areas regarding the sales–production–inventory situation to support decision-making. Coordinate the company Carflow at both annual and monthly levels.
Prepare monthly Carflow reports and presentations.
Coordinate with the team to optimize inventory management in alignment with plant ordering.
Coordinate the Sales Forecast (Marketing) and Production Plans (Planners and Schedulers) for the Domestic Market, optimizing the dealer network inventory and Central Inventory within ideal or required ranges established by the organization.
Coordinate, support, and follow up with Planners and the Sr. Sales Planning Manager in gathering historical sales data—both Nissan and industry—and ensuring timely updates to the Carflow.
Coordinate deliverables requested by the regional and global teams.
Follow up to ensure timely and proper submission of production orders to the different manufacturing plants.
Coordinate activities to ensure a smooth model-year transition for each vehicle to reduce administrative expenses (incentives and promotions).
Coordinate and monitor the ordering process in alignment with the dealer network and fleet ordering program team.
Professional Profile We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in sales analysis and forecasting.
Knowledge of inventory management.
Knowledge of demand and production planning.
Minimum English level: Upper Intermediate.
Strong command of Excel (Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Formulas).
Experience preparing executive presentations and results reports.
Nice to have:
Experience in sales administration within the automotive sector.
Systems knowledge: SAP / TOAD / SQL / BI tools.
