Global Marketing Director Innovation – Hydrofiber Technology

Position Overview:

The Global Marketing Director Innovation – Hydrofiber Technology is responsible for the end to end pipeline development and delivery, from idea to launching with brilliance to ensure commercial successes. This role is responsible for the New Product Strategy and Innovation roadmap, aligned with the local markets’ needs. The Global Marketing Director Innovation – Hydrofiber Technology partners with R&D to build a comprehensive and focused innovation pipeline and is responsible for enabling the BU to deliver on its New product launches following the IDEAL process. This role collaborates with the regional and local marketing leaders to centralise their needs for commercial execution and support their sales performance achievement and develops launch marketing campaigns and with the support of the Digital and Marcom team activates campaigns, sales collaterals, or trade shows. The Global Marketing Director Innovation – Hydro Fiber Technology partners with the Medical Affairs and Medical Education teams to build a strong medical education curriculum and other activities toward HCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands and addresses the clinical unmet needs for wound care patients (chronic and surgical wounds).
  • Understands and analyses the competitive landscape of Advanced Wound Care (AWC) globally.
  • Champions Launch Excellence Process globally and locally for Hydrofiber technology products.
  • Builds strong Global Marketing and Launch plans and coordinates the Local marketing plan build up for Hydrofiber technology product category.
  • Builds marketing toolkits globally for local deployment, in coordination with the Digital Marcom team.
  • Establishes, maintains, and manages effective interaction and relationships with outside agencies and vendors.
  • Develops field execution tools and sales aids that help sales representatives effectively deliver the appropriate messages.
  • Develops and executes sales training materials to enable superior field execution and delivery of value messages.
  • Consolidates the local market needs for competitive rebuttal, and commercial/incremental innovation.
  • Aligns the Global brand strategy and execution with the Regional and Local leaders
  • Coordinates with regional partners to ensure a flawless alignment between Local markets needs and the innovation roadmap.
  • Any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience in medical devices companies, including global marketing, commercial or sales.
  • Proven track record in advanced wound dressing development would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of delivering global product launches to execution.
  • Previous experience in hospital complex sale process.
  • Previous experience in community channel sale process.
  • Financial acumen/ business case development.
  • Clear communication skills across a variety of stakeholder levels
  • Gravitas and executive presence.
  • Rigor in process planning and execution tracking.
  • Influencing skills, navigate easily in a matrix organisation.
  • Team player mindset – Collaborative and engaging approach.
  • Strategic vision, analytical skills, and big picture thinking.
  • Proven team leadership experience.
  • Passion for wound care customers and patients.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Science and Marketing/Business


 

This is a hybrid role, linked to our headquarter in London, Paddington.
