The Opportunity:
 

As a Senior Program Management Analyst supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Air and Marine Operations you will serve as a senior consultant to the Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Program Management Office (PMO), De Havilland Canada DHC-8 (DHC-8) Programs to assist in aircraft modification acquisition development, technical development, program status reporting, and general program administrative support efforts.

This position requires being on the client's site in Washington, D.C., two (2) days per week.


Responsibilities:

You will report to the DHC-8 Program Manager and interact with headquarter-based and field Operations and Mission Support government personnel, third party contractor personnel, and other parties as necessary to assist in the aircraft modification program.

You will be responsible for acquisition documentation development, drafting/reviewing budget and financial documents, researching/drafting/reviewing technical documents, tracking milestones and schedules, providing technical assessment reports and follow-on analysis during the lifecycle of the DHC-8 Modification Program.

Further duties include developing reports, presentations, scheduling meetings/agendas, providing meeting minutes/action items, developing other support documentation and maintaining the programs technical and administrative archive network library.

You will engage in and periodically travel to administrative and technical meetings with various levels of CBP, vendors, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (JHU APL), and DoD (Department of Defense) personnel as required.




Qualifications:

Required:

  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years of related work experience.
  • DHS Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of the team with excellent interpersonal and administrative skills to organize, coordinate thorough systematic efforts to meet complex planning, operational and unanticipated tasks.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate both orally and in writing is required.
  • Ability to grasp conceptual ideas and exercise original thought where there is limited time for deliberation, consultation and evaluation to present sound recommendations on program and departmental tasks.
  • Mission Support processes and general knowledge of both the DHC-8 and P-3 aircraft.




Desired:

  • Experience in a PMO or similar organization within the federal government is a strong plus as is knowledge of traditional

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
