About Our Team:
The US Personal Bank Technology space is home to deeply talented colleagues that work to design, build and test customer products and platforms end-to-end. They not only scale and mature solutions to acquire and grow our customer base, but they also support platforms and frameworks, champion engineering excellence and enhance the customer digital experience around partnerships, servicing, lending, marketing rewards, and offers and payments.
As a IT Business Senior Analyst, you will be working within Citi’s US Personal Banking Technology space, on the Deposit, Savings & Secure Lending team. Specifically, within the Branch Technology team which serves as the principal point of contact for the Branch Business, ensuring the delivery of all Branch Mandatory & Strategic initiatives. This is a highly visible position works on industry leading initiatives with substantial impact to the Retail Banks earnings.
In this role, you will be required to focus on your Business Analysis and System Analysis skillset to deliver the programs/projects with key partners including Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Business, as well as external vendors. You will work with a broad set of teams consisting of employee and contractor resources in US and offshore to deliver high quality work and drive the Branch Business forward.
Responsibilities:
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and IT
Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions
Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information
Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational support
Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within IT or Technology environments.
Knowledge of business process modeling techniques, requirements gathering, and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or other BPM tools).
Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Skilled in creating and managing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to communicate complex IT solutions and business strategies.
Expertise in Microsoft Word for documentation, report generation, and creating technical and business documentation.
Experienced in using Microsoft Teams for collaborative communication, project tracking, and virtual meetings.
Competent in Microsoft Visio for designing process flows, IT systems diagrams, and business workflows.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint for team collaboration, document management, and workflow automation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization with charts and graphs.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
Excellent knowledge of Retail Banking especially on branch applications is a plus.
Certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
