As project manager, you will join Transformer Service R&D team, part of the Technology organization of business unit Transformers, leading Research and Development projects related to Transformer Service. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects adhere to internal R&D standards, including integrated scheduling and cost control

  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and detail all essential tasks, forming the basis for realistic project scheduled

  • Develop and maintain project work and cost breakdown structures, creating resource-loaded schedules that track baseline, actual, and forecast data

  • Monitor project progress, analyse critical paths, notify Project Managers of deviations, and provide resource optimization suggestions

  • Issue regular progress reports, updates, and productivity data to customers and stakeholders

  • Work with the team to define necessary resources, evaluating the work breakdown structure and standard productivity

  • Monitor costs/budgets, provide detailed estimates, analyse variances using earned value management, and advise on cost-related issues

  • Manage changes in scope, assess their impact, and ensure the budget reflects these changes

  • Manage risks by assessing their priority, maintaining the risk register, and proposing mitigation plans, including timeline and cost impacts

  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding.

Your background

  • MSc in Business, Engineering, or a related field

  • Project management certification

  • Over 5 years of project management experience

  • Experience in transformers, high voltage, or the energy industry is highly valued

  • Proficient in knowledge and experience capture methodologies

  • Strong technical and operational documentation skills

  • Innovative, with a creative approach to problem-solving

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills in international settings

  • Highly self-motivated with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset

  • Fluent in English, with additional languages being a plus
