We are looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Payroll Analyst – Brazil to execute and optimize payroll operations in the country. In this role, you will ensure the flawless processing of payroll cycles, guarantee strict compliance with local labor laws (CLT) and tax regulations, and collaborate closely with payroll vendors and internal HR/Finance teams to deliver an impeccable payment experience.
Key Responsibilities
-End-to-End Payroll: Coordinate and execute the end-to-end payroll cycle for Brazil, ensuring data accuracy and timely payments.
-Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external payroll providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and operational deliverables are consistently met.
-Compliance & Regulation: Guarantee full compliance with Brazilian labor laws (CLT), social security regulations (INSS, FGTS), and statutory tax requirements.
-Reporting & Auditing: Prepare labor cost reports, payroll provisions, KPIs, and support internal/external audit processes.
-Employee Support: Serve as the point of contact for complex employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax deductions, and local benefits, resolving them with high empathy and efficiency.
Requirements
-Experience: 3+ years of proven experience handling payroll operations within Brazil.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Languages: Professional fluency in English and Portuguese is required. Spanish is a plus.
-Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, complex formulas). Hands-on experience with HRIS/Payroll platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar) and familiarity with local statutory reporting systems (e.g., eSocial).
-Soft Skills: Outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, autonomy, and excellent communication skills.
