For Linklaters Office in Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Revenue Controller LGS role.
Your role
Revenue Controller will be involved in Revenue activities for the teams located in the United States. Billing and credit control process are key responsibilities for this role.
Knowledge transfer and transition of the processes:
Participate in knowledge transfer
Ensure that service quality is maintained during transition
Ensure high quality process documentation
Billing process:
Create / monitor segments as required
Monitor WIP against budget, create and review WIP/debt reports
Identify opportunities to bill
Prepare and review fee updates
Perform matter level checks and amendments (apply discounts, rates)
Review narratives, manage transfers and narrative changes
Execute e‑invoicing uploads through clients’ brokerage platforms.
Perform the billing process (draft bills/ final bills / bill reversals/ issuing partial CNs)
Credit control process:
Contribute to defining Cash Collections policy and treatment strategies
Execute Client Specific Cash Collection Process
Ensure that Collect is updated with relevant comments and details of chasers, payments promises, updates
Analyse Client Account Balances
Work Closely with Local Revenue Teams
Prepare statement of accounts and sending to matter managers
Send Reminder Letters and Emails
Correspond and Negotiate with Clients
Investigate and Resolve Client Issues
Write-Off Uncollectible Balances
Prepare Cash Collections Reporting
Monitor Bad Debt Provisions
Other:
Be responsible for assigned KPI’s to meet customer needs
Perform quality control checks to ensure consistent quality of work
Participate in regular process reviews with clients and key stakeholders, as needed
Escalate issues and risks to the Revenue Team Leader and Revenue Manager
Organise and maintain adequate electronic filing.
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with the Solicitors Accounting Rules.
Participation in process improvements initiatives
Your experience
3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a Shared Service/BPO environment or finance (preferably in OTC processes)
Excellent oral and written communication in English
Finance and Accounting background
Proficiency in data entry and data management
Highly competent user of Microsoft desktop productivity tools
Strong networking skills, ability to maintain excellent relationship with stakeholders working from different location
Ability to establish cooperative relationships with internal client group, asking questions to understand their needs and to check understanding, retaining information to be able to cope with similar situations in the future
Customer focused and service-oriented
Well organised, attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work efficiently under pressure
Technical, numeric and analytical skills
Working model
Hybrid work with occasional attendance at the Warsaw office
Working hours: 15:00–23:15 (CET)
