Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving revenue, delivering value, and providing “best in class” solutions and support to Major Markets – Business Services. This position works in a cooperative and supportive manner with the Implementation, Client Success, and Information Technology teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize extensive prospecting techniques to build and establish a self-generated pipeline.  Resources such as cold calling, preferred partnerships, marketing campaigns and search platforms will be under this role’s disposal.
  • Ascertain NEW client relationships exclusively.
  • Present, negotiate, and follow all new sales through contract execution and implementation – partnering with Cisive resources to support and ensure closure and acceptable implementation expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records and client contact information within Salesforce.com, to ensure senior management has accessibility to pipeline/forecasting data.
  • Promote a professional company image through prompt, thorough and courteous prospect interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experienced with sales cycles longer than 6 months in length.
  • Proven over-target attainment against established quotas in prior positions.
  • Strong ability to build and leverage internal partnerships.
  • Consultative solution selling experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong motivational and presentation skills.
