Team Description:

The ideal candidate will join the Finance Supplier team, a crucial part of the Air Supplier Sales organization. This team plays a key role in supporting and enhancing sales activities through comprehensive analysis, structuring, and review of major sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive early engagement in terms of deal structuring, whilst driving optimized commercial outcomes (pricing and terms) for Sabre
  • Act as trusted advisor to the Supplier Sales teams on all supplier deal-related pricing matters and advise sales staff on appropriate pricing strategies and actions.
  • Support Sales teams in the development of offers and managing approvals, including for pricing as well as other non-standard terms.
  • Review, analyze and undertake due diligence opportunities and contract documents for non-standard terms and raise to appropriate functional management for approval.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Contracts and Product teams to assure proper review and consideration is being provided to the entire opportunity.
  • The Supplier finance team makes recommendations to account teams and Sales leaders based on competitive and market data, industry trends and other available knowledge base tools that are available.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Contracts colleagues in other geographies to assure consistency of deal management practices and development of process/policy improvement opportunities.
  • Successfully manage multiple, large deals to assure timely processing of approval requests up to the C-suite level.
  • Participate in contract negotiation, as needed.
  • Support preparation of annual budget
  • Complete other ad hoc projects and analysis as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance preferred)
  • Demonstrated commercial skills: Possesses an understanding of the sales cycle, customer purchase drivers, pricing and value analysis and the challenges and best practices of a high performing field sales organization.
  • Business savvy: lead Sales to sound financial revenue driven decisions that are both profitable and provide minimal risk.
  • Excellent knowledge of revenue recognition, contract management, and deal structures.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX, MATCH)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills plus good technical aptitude that enables an integrated analysis of financial, technical and solution scope.
  • Ability to prioritize and rank decision drivers in order of relevance to the decision process.
  • Ability to quickly distill large numbers of variables and data into simple decision frameworks.
  • English communications skills required to influence and educate as necessary; ability to summarize complex opportunities at the Executive level.
  • Results oriented, passionate and demonstrates a bias to action. Always meets commitments.
  • Self-starter, highly analytical, with sound decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in flexible work hours during periods of higher volume deal flow or to meet large deal response deadlines.
