Position Summary You will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of GSK’s Enterprise AI Platform in India. You will work with data, engineering, product and business teams to build scalable, secure AI capabilities that create measurable impact. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Define and lead the roadmap for the Enterprise AI Platform to meet enterprise priorities and scale across functions. - Partner closely with engineering, product, data science and business stakeholders to deliver production AI services and reusable platform components. - Drive platform architecture, deployment and operations for secure, reliable and cost-effective AI services in cloud and hybrid environments. - Establish governance and responsible AI practices to ensure ethical model design, bias mitigation and regulatory alignment. - Build and grow a high-performing team and capability through hiring, mentoring and knowledge sharing. - Measure and report platform performance and business value, and iterate to improve outcomes. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related technical field. - Minimum 12 years experience in software engineering, data engineering or AI platform development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Proven experience designing and delivering scalable AI or machine learning platforms in production. - Strong cloud platform experience (for example AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and practical knowledge of ML infrastructure and tooling. - Demonstrable experience establishing governance, observability, and lifecycle management for models and data. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant technical discipline. - Experience with generative AI, large language models, retrieval augmented generation and agentic systems. - Hands-on background in MLOps, model monitoring, feature stores and CI/CD for ML. - Experience building secure AI services compliant with industry or regulatory frameworks. - Track record of building and scaling engineering teams and mentoring technical leaders. - Experience working in life sciences, healthcare or regulated environments.
