Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Billing & Policy Services Agent to join our growing team in Greensboro, NC!
The Billing & Policy Services Agent serves as a primary point of contact for agency partners and policyholders, handling billing and policy-related service inquiries for both new and existing accounts. This role is responsible for delivering a best-in-class service experience through timely, accurate, and professional communication.
How You Will Contribute:
Handle approximately 50–75 inbound billing and policy service calls daily, maintaining a professional and consistent customer experience
Assist with billing inquiries, including policy questions, payment updates, EFT/credit card processing, and reprinting declaration pages
Process inbound mail and scanned documents, including sorting, indexing, and routing as appropriate
Support policy servicing activities, including policy changes and renewal quote assistance
Maintain accurate documentation within agency management systems
Respond to customer emails and inquiries within established service standards
Provide clear, accurate information to policyholders and agency partners
Identify and escalate complex billing or service issues as needed
Licenses & Certifications:
Licensed if assigned specific North Carolina Accounts
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior customer service experience (insurance experience preferred)
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
1+ year of insurance industry experience (preferred)
Associate’s or bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)
