What You Will Achieve 

You will help Pfizer carry out the activities in distribution logistics centers to meet customer requirements, such as shipping and receiving requests, packing, storage, distribution of products, samples and promotional literature to domestic and/or international locations and associated customer service. In this role you will oversee and manage timely delivery of materials to support  manufacturing operations across  manufacturing facilities and ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) following applicable Standard Operating Procedures. 

As a Team leader, you will be involved in managing work teams in a division, along with technical and financial resources of the team. You will coach your direct reports on day to day activities. and be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise

How You Will Achieve It 

  • Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities in the department typically involving cross-functional representatives. 

  • Monitor shipping/receiving operations of raw materials, finished goods and consumable products  and intermediate inventory control operations. 

  • Supervise  and manage  packaging material stores and warehouses as per current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) & Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirement, also manage  storage and dispatch of finished goods.  

  • Ensure  zero defect activities in the area of Packaging Material Store by facilitating Annual Physical Stock count. 

  • Support implementation and improvement of environmental protection measures, safety at work and fire protection in accordance with the regulations and by-laws. 

  • Support continuous improvement and optimization activities related to the warehousing and support other logistics-related projects, such as new product launch and process improvement. 

  • Manage and monitor warehousing and freight budget, continuously identify operational and financial improvement opportunities and actively pursue financial efficiencies and savings. 

  • Work closely with Pfizer’s quality, EHS and security experts to comply with Pfizer compliance and business continuity standards requirements review manufacturing investigations and Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation. 

  • Prepare training plan of contractual staff in packaging material store and warehouse which include stacking and arranging of packaging materials in proper manner. 

  • Guide and motivate team in accomplishing their tasks while ensure they have the necessary tools, information and training. 

  • Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching. 

 

Qualifications 

Must-Have 

  • 3+ years of  Warehouse experience 

  • Experience and or knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). 

  • Good knowledge of MS Office. 

  • Good written and oral communication skills.  

  • System Application and Products knowledge. 

Nice-to-Have 

  • Bachelor's Degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.  

  • Experience in manufacturing investigations and CAPA implementation. 

  • Experience with inventory management concepts. 

  • Experience in the shipping and receiving of materials and product in regulated environment. 

  • People management experience.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $78 000,00 to $130 000,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10,0% of the base salary.
