Quality Manager – Enschede

We have an opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our Enschede team. You will provide leadership for the quality team in the resolution of problems and continuous improvement of products, processes, and the quality management system. This position will work within the Enschede Plant Management Team addressing all areas of business operations and focusing on achieving quality and operating objectives.

You will:

• Champion organizational development and change management to build a strong quality culture, remove barriers, motivate teams, and resolve conflicts.
• Translate strategic quality objectives into operational plans, driving process excellence, lean practices, and structured problem‑solving (PDCA, 8D, RCA, QC tools).
• Lead continuous improvement across products and processes to reduce defects, scrap, and warranty issues while maintaining and presenting key quality KPIs to leadership.
• Oversee quality systems, including ISO 9001 compliance, management reviews, QMS implementation, QMM assessments, and development of product quality specifications and testing.
• Partner with cross‑functional and new product development teams to embed quality in design, execute APQP, and align training programs with business and quality needs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals, fostering a positive, growth‑oriented culture and strong organizational collaboration.

Key Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in manufacturing quality and 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in ISO 9001 or similar standards, with proven success driving world‑class product, process, and supplier quality.
• Preferably certified in Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt) and experienced with Lean, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DOE, SPC, and related quality tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, influence cross‑functional groups, and deliver measurable operational results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with strong command of written and spoken English.
