Job Description:

The Director, Performance Enablement & Analytics is a strategic leadership role responsible for leverage analytics to identify, facilitate, and empower enterprise-wide performance initiatives. This role partners closely with senior leadership, business units / MSO functions, and technical teams to ensure their performance needs and priorities are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Generate and Share Performance Insights with Business Units and MSO Functions:
Design, synthesize, and execute analytics that surface performance opportunities and variances for business units and functional leaders.

Design and Evolve Analytics to Map to Business Needs:
Partner with internal data and reporting functions to scope analytics to clearly map to specific current and future business use cases, with a focus on usability and translation into actionable insights.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with stakeholders across the organization – both technical functions responsible for loading data and producing reporting – as well as business unit leaders and MSO executives who consume those reports – to translate data and reporting into actionable performance opportunities. Partner with MSO functions to ensure their key performance needs are met.

Technology & Tools:
Evaluate, implement, and optimize performance management and analytics tools to streamline processes and improve user experience.

Change Management:
Lead change initiatives related to performance reporting and analytics, ensuring effective communication, training, and adoption across the organization. Represent analytics in internal forums

Team Leadership:
Build and mentor a team of analytics professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree – field agnostic. (Master’s in Business Administration preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, and/or direct industry experience in an operations or strategy role within healthcare services / health insurance / managed care

Preferred:

  • MBA – and prior experience with healthcare services

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Power BI and SQL skills are nice to have but not required.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization with management of multiple stakeholders and customers
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling programs and teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with understanding of performance drivers in managed care
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, or advanced analytics technique
