Your Job
The “Boolean” engineers have a pivotal role in the Design Manual construction as well as in the development of the new programs in GlobalFoundries.
As a key member of the “Boolean” activity within the Design enablement team, you will primarily be responsible for formalizing the specifications of devices into automation-ready input for the PDK and for translating all Design shapes into what will become the masks used in the semi-conductor manufacturing flow. We offer specialized training.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent.
Excellent technical problem solving skills.
Fluent in English – both written and verbal.
Good attitude and interpersonal skills, tactful and works well in a team environment.
Self-motivated, resourceful and shows initiative.
Well organized and exhibits attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor and/or EDA industries.
Good knowledge of electronic devices and semiconductor theory.
Experience with CAD systems in Electronics (Cadence IC, Cadence OrCAD, Protel or similar);
Exposure to Cadence IC (Virtuoso Layout, Schematic or Skill programming language) is a plus;
Expertise in truth table, design rules, layer definitions, and logic operations will make you stand out. Experience or familiarity with process integration to ensure interlocking is highly valued.
Previous experience with Unix/Linux systems is also a plus.
Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Tcl, Bash...) is a plus
