About the Role

As a Co‑Program Manager, you contribute to the successful execution of complex automotive customer programs. Working closely with the (Lead) Program Manager, you take responsibility for managing internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all parties. Your role spans planning, coordination, team enablement, and the execution of a structured development plan across multiple technical domains and global sites. With a strong focus on operational delivery, you own defined sub‑areas of the program and ensure that milestones, risks, and dependencies are proactively managed to support overall program success.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Program Manager in the realization of Automotive programs; acts as deputy for defined tasks and work packages
  • Responsible for assigned sub areas of planning and controlling
  • Supports customer alignment regarding schedules, deliveries, and technical topics for defined scopes
  • Contributes to budget planning / business case activities and supports the compilation of development requests
  • Planning and coordination of samples and related peripherals in alignment with the Program Manager and engineering teams
  • Supports the creation, maintenance, and release of program related documentation in TeamCenter, ensuring that all relevant artifacts (e.g., BOM updates, requirements, change documentation, meeting minutes, program deliverables) are stored, version controlled, and aligned with Harman’s PLM and BMS processes
  • Technical coordination for selected functional areas or work packages
  • Preparation and participation in regular meetings with OEM, including technical status, program progress, and product alignment
  • Supports the transition from prototyping to production, including ramp up activities, for assigned components or functions
  • Steering of Risk Management & Lessons Learned
  • Preparation and maintenance of transparent internal and customer reporting; consolidation of inputs from cross functional teams
  • Supports maintenance and issue tracking after Start of Production (SOP)

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Excellent skills in MS Office, MS Project, TeamCenter; Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Structured and reliable working style; able to work independently within defined tasks and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, especially planning and tracking
  • Strong “Follow-Up” discipline
  • Analytical skills for data interpretation
  • Experience or basic understanding of electronic manufacturing is a plus

What Makes You Eligible

  • University degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering) or comparable qualification
  • 1–3 years of experience in project or program management or in working with automotive customers
  • Fluent English required; Swedish is a plus
  • Good communication skills and team oriented mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple topics in parallel
  • Strong sense of ownership
