We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our associate Health and Wellness Centers in our Jacksonville, Florida locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rendering professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing equipment and assisting on-site physician(s) during examination and treatments.
• Administering prescribed medications, drawing blood, cleaning wounds, and changing dressings.
• Monitoring patient vital signs.
• Observing and maintaining medical records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
• Managing the scheduling system and day-to-day office schedules.
• Managing center and administrative duties such as ordering and restocking supplies.
• Adapt to changes in job duties as needed in the Health and Wellness Center.
• This schedule is an 8-hour shift, with start and end times that may vary. Shifts are scheduled between Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on operational needs.
• Team members are expected to rotate between two Jacksonville locations as needed to support operational coverage and continuity of care.
• Occasionally may have to cover other clinic locations.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be licensed RNs. Florida-based RNs will be expected to obtain compact licensure after hire; RNs from other states must possess compact licensure prior to starting.
• Maintain/current licensure and/or certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice in emergency medicine, ambulatory care, or medical nursing
• Exceptional people skills and ability to communicate in written correspondence.
• Proficient knowledge of Outlook Calendar & Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
• Experience using AllScripts/Veradigm , preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of diagnoses and treatment for conditions commensurate for a nurse with experience
• Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions
• Ability to identify and solve problems; Ability to interpret procedures and guidelines for the Health and Wellness Centers
• Ability to react calmly during emergency situations.

Physical Abilities:

• Standing for extended periods of time (possibly up to 6 hours), push, pull, pull, and reach; occasionally bend, sit, stoop, and stretch.
• Maintain full range of body motion, including handling and lifting of patients if necessary.
• Normal range of hearing and occasionally must be able to assist with or support items up to 75 lbs and patients age 16 and older.
