Job Description:

This position will require:

Strong communication and customer service skills; Serving both the internal and external customer with clear and helpful communication.

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to train and master future CRM and ERP system(s).

Ability to read and audit invoices and packing slips to maintain integrity of outgoing and incoming supplies.

Good organizational skills, ability to maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.

Versatile, ability to multi-task on various projects.

Safety oriented.

Reliable/dependable.

Works with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with internal and external customers to support their service, parts, scheduling, and supply needs.

Prep orders for shipping; Pick, pack, label, and ship items.

Verify all paperwork and accessories accompany the order, place items in the box and secure with packaging materials or inserts.

Create needed labels and ship with requested carrier and place in respective area for carrier pick up.

Receives and unloads incoming materials, equipment and parts. Compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; process return shipments from customers.

Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.

Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.

Follows established department policies, procedures, and objectives. Follows continuous quality improvement objectives, safety, and quality standards.

Organize the daily workload to optimize high output and consistency throughout the shipping process. Organize warehouse for easy access to parts, equipment, and orders prepared.

Maintains department database, prepare routine reports, and diles shipping/receiving records.

Maintains shipping supplies and orders replacement items when needed.

Maintains accurate inventory counts, reporting any discrepancies for timely resolution.

Operates a forklift when needed for safe unloading and loading of parts and equipment.

Performs all tasks assigned safely, avoiding short-cuts and maintaining attention to detail.

Essential education, licenses, certifications, skills and experience needed for this position:

AA or Technical degree a plus

Three (3) years of experience in shipping/receiving or similar role desired

Ability to operate forklift, dolly or pallet jack a plus.
