Under the supervision and guidance of the Director, M&A and Strategy and the Technical Manager, Strategy & Fundamentals, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for the following activities:
Support establishing the business case for new asset or portfolio acquisitions and/or divestment initiatives.
Provide project management support for ongoing acquisition or divestment processes.
Support the research of power industry fundamentals.
Track and report on relevant industry activity; maintain new acquisition opportunity database and other screening tools.
Interact optimally with personnel across the organization and externally.
You possess a university degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
Experience in business evaluation, strategy or research.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of North American power industry considered an asset
Prior experience in commercial development, acquisitions, consultancy, market research and/or operations of infrastructure assets would be beneficial.
