Predictive Maintenance Implementation Manager (IC)

Boeing Vancouver is looking for a Predictive Maintenance Implementation Manager (IC) to help drive implementation and adoption of our Predictive Management Insight Accelerator suite of products. The position will be based from our Richmond, British Columbia office; however, a hybrid work style is offered, allowing the candidate to work both virtually and in the office (2-3 days on-site).

A successful candidate will be a self-starter who understands the importance of collaboration as this position will be responsible for deployment of our maintenance products for customers around the world.  You will be responsible for:

Position Responsibilities:

  • analyzing contractual implementation requirements for delivery of customer solution. 

  • supporting problem management and resolution through tactical and strategic insertions. 

  • Acts as a consultant for and coordinates with customer’s end users and Internal development organizations for both process and technical challenges during implementation.

  • Onboard, train, and support airline customers to effectively use predictive maintenance tools and practices.

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer-facing communication skills to engage with customers that are both technical and non-technical and can understand their needs.

  • Collaborate with product, sales, and internal teams to be the voice of the customer, ensuring their feedback is provided to internal stakeholders and support teams.

  • Analyze maintenance and flight data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements.

  • Support the development of models that reduce unplanned maintenance events in the aerospace sector.

  • Understand and communicate prognostic logic, explaining what the data indicates and why the alerts are worth deploying and monitoring.

  • Chair regular meetings with customers to discuss progress, provide training, support, and guidance on predictive maintenance tools and practices.

  • Create and present reports and dashboards that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Richmond BC. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in the airline industry focused primarily in the maintenance field.

  • Comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems and their operational functions.

  • Experience analyzing or using aircraft maintenance manuals, Bill of Materials (BOM), and understanding aircraft and component configuration, modifications, and service bulletins.

  • Strong understanding of commercial aviation maintenance programs and general knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements, such as the FAA, EASA, etc.

  • Proven statistical and data analysis skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.

  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance methodologies and tools specific to aerospace applications.

  • Familiarity with data science and statistics concepts.

  • Experience analyzing flight data to derive insights and inform maintenance strategies.

  • Fleet type training or certification is a nice-to-have skill.

  • An aircraft pilot's license or any flying experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.

  • Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

Starting salary will be based on year of post-secondary education completed, qualifications and experience. Salary pays range - $85,000.00 - $152,000.00 CAD
