Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will apply your business and functional knowledge to develop comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that quality processes and methodologies are effectively implemented throughout the application lifecycle. You will also focus on defining and implementing key metrics to manage and assess the testing process, including test execution and defect resolution, ultimately driving quality and efficiency in the development process. Roles & Responsibilities: The Senior IT Tester with the skills and expertise of ETL testing and strong SQL knowledge are responsible for performing functional testing and system testing on the system under test. Understand the data lineage and transformations of underlying data and develop suitable test to evaluate the quality Must-have knowledge and experience Skillset: : Minimum of 7+ years experience in ETL testing, with a minimum 2+ years of experience in Banking domain (preferably Credit Risk) Expertise in Functional testing in Database and Data migration, transformations and ETL. Expertise and sound knowledge in Advanced SQLs and Joins Experience in Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) Data Warehousing concepts Good analytical skills with ability to understand the data lineage of the system under test. Hands-on experience in Oracle/Snowflake platform, Data Stage ETL testing Expertise in Test Automation framework, preferably BDD Expertise in Python/Pytest Scripting, Gherkins Exposure in Git and using Git commands Hands on experience in Jenkins Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - Must To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Selenium. - Strong understanding of data quality assurance processes and methodologies. - Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases for data warehouse projects. - Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
