Job Summary:


Works between marketing teams and technical teams to lead the development and adoption of marketing technologies. This role typically has moderate level expertise on marketing technologies, marketing data, and digital marketing acumen.

What You Will Do:

  • Consults with marketing teams with the usage of marketing technologies and/or data to improve marketing performance to achieve business objectives. Assists in the development and delivery of content for marketing technology, marketing data & digital marketing process adoption.

  • Represents the business in marketing technology and/or data planning meetings, road mapping, reveals, and retrospectives. In addition, responsible for creating, maintaining, prioritizing, and communicating backlogs based on business requirements.

  • Validates business requirements, supports translating them into detailed functional requirements and user stories, and defining acceptance criteria and test cases. This includes support for creating user stories, defining dependencies, impacts and acceptance criteria, and obtaining requirements sign-off from requesting business partners.

  • Leads medium projects, with moderate complexity related to marketing technology and/or data development and adoption.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques including change management principles and user training; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; change management principles, ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with business units/dealers, clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).

  • Digital Marketing: Knowledge of processes, techniques, and platforms of digital marketing; ability to implement or manage digital marketing programs.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing Consulting and Specialized Services related to project specific initiatives

  • At least 3 years of Systems Project Management Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical, Communications, or Business-Related Field

  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System Experience

  • Professional Certifications (for example):

    • Change Management (i.e. ADKAR)

    • 6 Sigma Experience (Lean Certifications, Black Belt, Green Belt, Yellow Belt, etc.)

    • Professional and/or Technical Writing
