Job Description
The Business Development (BD) Professional plays a key role in identifying and pursuing new opportunities to meet our clients' needs and drive growth.
The BD Professional needs to have a deep understanding of the current infrastructure market and players in the Philippines to help FPI continue to develop and grow. This role involves building strong client relationships, identifying potential markets, and strategizing to expand our reach. The BD Professional collaborates with various specialists within Fugro to ensure the delivery of technically robust and economical solutions for geotechnical, UXO, seismic, topographical, and environmental investigations.
In their commercial capacity, the professional manages and participates in the preparation and delivery of high-quality and compelling proposals. They ensure that proposals are tailored to meet client needs effectively, coordinating resources and planning to achieve the best results. By combining both business development and commercial expertise, this professional ensures seamless integration of client acquisition and project execution efforts.
The Business Development (BD) Professional collaborates with relevant internal stakeholders to drive growth and success. They are primarily responsible for identifying new opportunities throughout the Philippines and potentially in the APAC region when required. By working closely with teams across Fugro, the BD Professional ensures the effective utilization of assets and contributes to the profitable growth of the business unit. Additionally, they support the preparation of commercial proposals by providing market insights and strategies.
The Business Development (BD) Professional drives growth by:
Building relationships with key clients and identifying new market opportunities. Collaborating with the Country/Regional Commercial Team and specialists to support tendering efforts. Providing strategic insights and market intelligence to assist in commercial and financial management. Supporting the development of proposals for large or complex projects, ensuring alignment with client needs. Advising on HSSE, financial, contractual, and technical risks. Offering guidance on proposal content and participating in peer reviews when needed.

In a relevant technical subject.
Working experience

Experience in the construction / infrastructure sector, ideally with significant exposure to services offered by FPI, including land and nearshore site investigation.
Management experience
