Job Description:

H&E Rentals has an immediate opening for a Service Manager to join our teamThe Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all service operations, including customer relations, P&L budgeting for the department, training of service employees, management of service technicians’ work area, prioritization of work orders, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to lead and grow within a supportive and organization. 

 

Service Manager Key Responsibilities: 

  • Service Operations Management: Lead and oversee all service operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication. 

  • Financial Management: Manage P&L budgeting for the service department to achieve financial targets and objectives. 

  • Employee Training & Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to service employees to enhance their skills and capabilities. 

  • Work Area Management: Supervise and manage the service technicians’ work area to ensure organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards. 

  • Work Order Prioritization: Prioritize and allocate work orders effectively to meet customer needs and operational requirements. 

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by service technicians and staff. 

 

Service Manager Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Management Experience: 2-5 years of experience in management or supervision of repair, installation, service, support, or other leadership roles. 

  • Administrative Skills: Strong administrative, organizational, and service-oriented capabilities. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, smartphones, and tablets. 

  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to inspire, lead, and motivate others with a quick learning ability. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.

The pay range for this position starts at $70,000.00+. The final wage will be determined based on the individual’s skill, knowledge, and ability.
