Your Role: Own the Challenge

For Motion Austria, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our product management team in the field of drive technology. In this role, you will act as a product specialist responsible for our ABB products, systems, services, and solutions in the area of IEC low-voltage motors, serving as the technical interface between our manufacturing plants, local sales, and our customers. You will also proactively drive business development and portfolio optimization in line with the divisional strategy and support the translation of market requirements into competitive offer specifications. You combine comprehensive business acumen with deep technical expertise to ensure the sustainable execution of strategic plans, market-leading solutions, and profitable growth through customer-centric initiatives.

  • In the IEC low-voltage motors product area, you take ownership of product-related support and consulting, market introduction, and the positioning of our products. In addition, you identify new product development opportunities and define innovative solutions to meet specific customer requirements. You actively support our local sales- and marketing manager, handle technical inquiries on drive systems, advise and support our customers, and maintain the relevant tools for our ABB products and services.
  • You prepare product and presentation materials, develop training content, and deliver product and application training on drive and digital solutions for internal and external stakeholders. Active participation in trade fairs and events to showcase our portfolio is also part of your responsibilities.
  • You define business performance targets and establish comprehensive KPIs to monitor revenue, earnings, margins, and profitability within your assigned portfolio. You drive profitable business growth and market share expansion through the implementation of strategic initiatives and market and competitive analyses, in close collaboration with local, global, and divisional stakeholders and business units. Furthermore, you strengthen customer satisfaction and market position by promoting continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing market trends and gaps, and implementing corrective measures that reinforce ABB's competitive advantage in the assigned segment.
  • Through continuous market observation and a well-founded overview of the product range, you make a significant contribution to business success. You support the definition of product pricing and lead times, contribute to offers, execute offer lifecycle management activities, and ensure that technical solutions are leveraged across the entire product group portfolio. All activities are documented in our internal tools and in the central CRM system Salesforce.
