Position: Geography / Wave Lead - IWMS Implementation
Position Overview
The Lead will serve as a critical project coordination role supporting the multi-phase, multi-wave rollout of an IWMS system including lease, capital planning, and portfolio modules across global regions. This position facilitates communication and coordination between Headquarters (HQ) teams and regional Area teams to ensure successful implementation of data migration, change management, training, and functional requirements initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Communication
Serve as primary liaison between HQ development teams and assigned Cluster/Area teams for S implementation activities
Interface regularly with Church Cluster Ambassadors to maintain strong relationships with Area teams
Facilitate communication and feedback loops between areas and HQ to support refinement of functional requirements
Coordinate the dissemination of HQ-developed packages, instructions, and deliverables to regional teams
Data Migration & Requirements Management
Support preparation and validation of data migration activities within assigned geographic areas
Gather and consolidate feedback on functional requirements from Area teams back to HQ
Assist in coordinating data migration strategy implementation across assigned properties and leases
Change Management & Training Coordination
Implement change management and training activities developed by HQ teams
Support Area teams in adoption and execution of training programs
Coordinate with Change/Training leads within each Area team structure
Coordinate local translation activities (via contractors or employee staff) of communication and/or training materials
Program Management
The EMEA regional wave lead will additionally act as program manager to drive consistent approach and standards in delivery across the globe
Manage timeline and deliverable coordination for assigned Wave/Phase implementation
Report progress, risks, and outcomes to HQ team
Participate in regular meetings with HQ teams to receive instructions and share regional feedback
Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills
8+ years of project management or program coordination experience
Experience with enterprise software implementations (preferably IWMS or other real estate management systems)
Strong communication and facilitation skills for cross-cultural, multi-time zone collaboration
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate complex deliverables
Geographic & Schedule Requirements
Does not need to live and work “in” the assigned cluster, but will need to work the time zone of the assigned cluster to support daily operations of Area teams (Main clusters are LATAM, EMEA, Asia/Pacific).
Flexibility to participate in regular meetings with HQ teams across different time zones (specifically, Mountain Time Zone)
Understanding of regional business practices and cultural considerations for assigned geographic area
Technical Requirements
Proficiency with project management tools and collaboration platforms
Experience with data migration and system implementation processes
Ability to transition technical requirements into actionable regional implementation plans
Language Requirements
Depending on assigned geography, may require proficiency in multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and various Asian languages. All roles need to have basic proficiency in English. Specific language support needs by geography include:
North, Central and South America – Spanish and/or Portuguese required. French is helpful.
Asia / Pacific – Korean, Japanese, Mongolian Preferred.
EMEA – Afrikaans highly preferred. Other European languages are helpful (French, Russian, German, Polish, Italian, etc).
