At the Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) Enterprise Command Centre we operate multiple services and technologies. We are currently seeking talented technicians to be a part of our Mainframe Team. You will play a key role in providing support for our infrastructure operations. You will also be part of the implementation of leading-edge solutions for Citi’s Mainframe environment. Our team provides support from a state-of-the-art support center.
The Infrastructure Senior Technology Analyst is a Senior level role.
Responsibilities:
- In this role you will be part of advanced support team, providing support to mainframe service, execution of high visibility activities and resolution of day-to-day operational challenges.
- You will be involved in advanced infrastructure problem management driving improvement project related to enhance service, toiling reduction as well as finding opportunities to integrate new set of skills into our operational structure.
- We will work together with the multiple functions and assignments to ensure proper performance of the processes running within one of the biggest IT environments all over the world. This will include direct engagement into operations including immediate notifications for critical issues and acting as the service owner.
- You will have the opportunity to develop in the field of communication thanks to cooperation with employees at various levels, in different regions of the world and from a wide range of global IT and business.
- Sharing your technology related knowledge with team members as well as taking responsibility to introduce new generation of Z infrastructure analysts.
- Create complex project plans, perform impact analysis solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolutions to restore services
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
- Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks.
- Review requirement documents and update processes and procedures as necessary.
- Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to lower level analysts.
- Develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices.
- Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement.
- Good time management skills with high sense of urgency and dedication.
- Clear personal work ethic that inspires quality and enthusiasm.
- Ability and willingness to operate within tightly controlled operational procedures.
- 3+ years’ experience across IBM Z platform architecture.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline.
- Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
