Summary:
This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling Commvault, AIX, Linux, Windows, Storage and/or Data Protection operations to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. This includes activities related to system configuration, maintenance, user requirements, user incidents, and user requests as well as technology infrastructure for Memorial systems. Will serve as a project lead and trainer for staff.Responsibilities:
Performs security and quality audits to assess server performance and identify gaps that may lead to potential service interruptions, and responds to immediate server issues to provide resolution.Guides and conducts the designs aspects of data conversion necessary for server operations.Works with vendors and other third-parties to secure back-end development and implementation of server infrastructure technologies and products.Defines requirements, determines test plans, and works to resolve server issues to achieve operational accuracy reliability and efficiency.Performs server infrastructure device firmware and software updates, configures data protection to ensure servers are maintained and current.Leads the coding required for individual modules and/or complex functions of the server system and/or applications.Leads the review of new and existing server designs and applications and makes recommendations for areas for improvement, resolving complex issues.Applies technical expertise to the design and workflow systems that provide seamless integration for various system and server applications.Resolves complex problems as it relates to Installs and configures server systems and applications according to business needs.Identifies opportunities and leads the enhancement or improvement of existing technologies and adapts processes and procedures amidst the changing system environments.Provides oversight for the monitoring and controls systems in current server environment by providing guidance and direction for the performance of system capacity analysis and planning to ensure efficient resource utilization and optimization.Competencies:

Experience with Microsoft administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies. Other Information: Additional Education Info: Information Technology, or related field.
