Raytheon Australia is seeking a highly experienced Global Supply Chain Program Manager to lead and run the RTX Global Supply Chain Program (GSCP) nationally.

This senior role provides overarching program ownership, driving strategy, national engagement, and international alignment with RTX to position Australian companies for export success.

As the senior program manager, you will provide authoritative assessments of industry capability, guide supplier development pathways, and represent Raytheon Australia in high‑impact engagements across Defence Industry, Commonwealth GSCP partners, and the global RTX network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, run, and own the Global Supply Chain Program for Australia, ensuring strategic alignment, program performance, and delivery of national industry outcomes.

  • Represent Raytheon Australia as the senior GSCP authority across suppliers, Commonwealth GSCP leadership, industry bodies, and RTX (US) stakeholders.

  • Drive initiatives that increase Australian supplier participation in RTX’s global supply chain.

  • Conduct detailed assessments of supplier capabilities and production maturity, identifying gaps and developing plans to prepare companies for entry into the RTX global supply chain.

  • Lead the execution of the Raytheon Enterprise Supplier Assessment (RESA) process in partnership with US program teams.

  • Build and maintain senior relationships across Australian Defence Industry, state governments, academia, and Commonwealth departments.

  • Coordinate planning and engagement with RTX colleagues, including supplier visits, technical assessments, and program reviews.

  • Work closely with Commonwealth GSCP staff to align national objectives with program execution.

  • Manage opportunities for Australian suppliers from initial exploration through to contract award, ensuring companies are positioned and prepared to compete for US and global RTX opportunities.

  • Confidently represent Raytheon Australia in high‑level industry and government discussions, often as the sole company representative.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and GSCP activities across Australia; regular interstate travel is required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Extensive supply engineering experience, including vendor selection, manufacturing readiness and production planning.

  • Strong knowledge of contemporary quality engineering standards.

  • Prior experience conducting Raytheon Enterprise Supplier Assessments (RESA) and working with RTX (US) programs whilst not required, is a positive.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within engineering or multi‑disciplinary teams.

  • Excellent communication, influence, and relationship‑building skills.

  • Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
