Job Description

This opportunity sits within our National General Family of Companies. The Processing Support Consultant II provides high level processing support to internal/external customers and business partners. This role will prepare management reports to the team and will be seen as a knowledge based specialist in the processing support field. This role performs bookkeeping, data entry and verification procedures and is directly responsible for policy services, rating, premium accounting, and operation support. This role will work with existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems and will train less experienced team members when needed. This role will use existing procedures to solve routine problems and work under minimal supervision and direction from senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for making recommendations for process improvements and cost saving opportunities

• Assist the Team Leader with special projects

• Assist with operational efficiency projects

• Ensure deadlines are met and provide training as needed

• Manage suspense accounts using established departmental procedures

• Research and reply to customer requests related to billing questions, processing refunds as necessary

• Resolving payment and billing issues

• Prepares management reports for the team

• Approves check requests

• Processes data in accordance with internal and external business requirements and documented guidelines

Note: Succession and/or Development planning has identified a qualified candidate for this position. However, the hiring manager is considering other candidates.

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $48,000.00 - 78,937.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
