What you will do

The Supply Planner will be responsible for short and long term Supply Planning to support S&OE and S&OP processes for our Commercial HVAC business for products coming from the Norman, OK facilities. The Supply Planner will focus on a portfolio of purchased parts, modified roof-tops, and manufacturing accessories tied to commercial roof top units and aftermarket parts.

How you will do it

S&OP

  • Analyze and utilize business data for the creation of a comprehensive supply plan evaluating multiple scenarios & factors to determine the best fit based on the organization’s long-term strategy & financial targets.

  • Work with the manufacturing plant to define rough-cut capacity plans, level load, & identify constraints in order to support the demand forecast.

  • Track execution, identify demand and supply gaps to S&OP plan, and drive balanced demand/supply resolution, in coordination with impacted functions.

  • Define inventory entitlement and safety stock levels for your products based on product segmentation strategies (ABC) in order to support the customer, market, and business needs.

S&OE:

  • Support near term planning process across 1–3-month time horizon by monitoring production attainment & optimization in order to hit revenue targets.

  • Proactively identify and escalate risks in missed commitments, forecast consumption, service levels, and inventory gap-to-target to deliver against the consensus demand plan and opportunities to improve delivery.

  • Coordinates with Manufacturing, Production Schedulers, Quality, and Engineering to assure Supply can meet customer demands as planned.

Other responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate replenishment signals to assure a smooth flow of materials to the manufacturing floor and enable operational efficiency.

  • Monitor, publish, and work cross functionally to reduce product lead times.

  • Support Demand planning and Product management in NPI & phase in/phase out processes.

  • Define and incorporate new process and best practices as the business needs evolve.

  • Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments.

What we look for

  • 4 year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field

  • 2-3 years of supply chain experience, at least some exposure to a SIOP process, with key focus on supply planning concepts

  • Extremely comfortable with manipulating data in Excel, strong analytical skills, and ability to apply basic statistical concepts.

  • Ability to recognize trends within data and translate that back into a demand & supply plan narrative.

  • Familiar with a variety of the manufacturing concepts, practices, procedures.

  • Strong understanding of end to end supply chain, potential tradeoffs, and impact on short term execution soft skills.

  • Has a mindset of continuous improvement and always looks for more optimal and efficient ways to execute and improve on workload.

  • Ability to lead through influence and communicate across diverse group of stakeholders.

  • Experience with end-to-end supply chain planning tools and forecasting systems (ERP (SAP/Oracle), Planning Tools (Logility preferred, Kinaxis, etc).
