Join Sam's Club's Member Access Platform (MAP) as the Director of Revenue Operations, leading an agile team to support revenue and billing operations for our advertising sales. Use your expertise to manage pipeline accuracy, collaborate with finance for forecasts, and lead solutions to enhance our digital advertising business.

The MAP team is a fast-growing, visible group within Sam’s Club, responsible for leading growth and delivering meaningful insights to our suppliers. As the Director of Revenue Operations, you will play an important role within the MAP team. You will lead a team of associates, ensuring the accuracy of our revenue pipeline and managing our billing operations. By ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient billing operations, you will help the MAP team deliver valuable insights and results to our suppliers, contributing to Sam’s Club’s overall growth strategy.
Develop ongoing sales performance and business metrics reporting, partnering with the Head of Sales to ensure pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy.
Oversee MAP’s end-to-end Billing operations for accurate invoicing.
Validate and deliver Quarterly SIP (sales incentive plan) reporting to Total Rewards. This includes advising VP/GM, and HR re: SIP exception requests.
Collaborate with the MAP Finance team on monthly forecast, AOP (Annual Operating Plan) development, ad hoc analyses requests.
Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in revenue forecasting, and annual budgeting approaches.
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to define data needs and enhance dashboards for financial reporting and insights.
Oversee change management, process improvements, documentation, training, and reporting, while creating feedback loops to evaluate program effectiveness.
Convert data to make it analysis-ready by compiling data from multiple sources and presenting it in a clear and applicable format.
Use data extraction skills to analyze historic data, identify trends, address gaps, and uncover opportunities.
Develop analyses to uncover opportunities and provide written recommendations.
Communicate data by adjusting your style for different audiences to address complex finance issues. Your communication influences critical decisions.
7+ years in Revenue Ops/Finance or comparable field in a matrixed organization.
5+ years people management experience
7+ years working with Sales and exhibits a commercial mindset understanding the needs/pain points of Sales.
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance.
A fundamental understanding on what motivates sales organizations to perform.
A fundamental understanding of how metrics can be used to track and improve the performance of sales teams.
Experience with CRM, OMS, and other forecasting or BI tools.
Digital advertising experience preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
