Daikin Applied is seeking a Regional Solutions Account Executive. Location: Remote, Regional – NY, PA, MD, DC, NJ, DE, VA, WV
Your Responsibilities:
Demonstrates a strong commitment to pursuing and winning complex, high-value solution opportunities that address customer needs beyond traditional product sales, including the development of multi-service solutions that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, and optimize HVAC system performance
Develops and leverages executive-level relationships across key vertical markets—such as education and healthcare—to position solutions, influence decision-makers, and strategically close complex sales opportunities
Maximizes profitability of all sales office revenue streams by seeking to include all products and services we sell to maximize scope of projects.
Collaborates with internal and external teams such as Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Offices, and engineers to deliver value-driven solutions
Strengthens the Customer / Daikin relationship by leveraging multiple customer contact points between the Daikin Sales Team and the customer
Understands client needs and objectives and creates customized solutions
Actively engages in high-impact projects to drive customer confidence and ensure successful execution while strategically identifying and cultivating sales leads through internal databases, industry intelligence, vertical market insights, and external lead-generation sources
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, builds customer relationships and follows up on customer concerns
Prepares and coordinates cost estimates and price quotations for new and continuing projects, verifies pricing and credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for secured orders
Performs tests and conducts surveys on competitive products to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products
Tracks sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer engagement using Salesforce. Identifies and implements tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI)
Plans, organizes, and leads projects through successful completion by coordinating internal and external subject matter experts and partnering with vendors and contractors to deliver customized solutions to clients
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
6–8 years of relevant experience
At least 7 years of Commercial HVAC sales experience or related strategic / solution-selling experience
Ability to travel up to 25% within the region
Reside within region: NY, PA, MD, DC, NJ, DE, VA, WV

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $101,000 to $144,800 plus a targeted sales incentive plan in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
