The Corporate Services Team

The Corporate Services team is dedicated to customer service and hospitality by providing all employees and clients with an exceptional experience from the moment they enter a Dimensional building.

The Opportunity

The Events Associate (Event Coordinator) will support the planning, development, management, and execution of events that support the firm’s strategic goals. The candidate must have knowledge of corporate event planning, timelines, and coordination of events in various styles of venues and across multiple states in Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of both small- and large-scale events, such as meetings, conferences, dinners, and receptions.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external client conferences and meetings.
  • Organization of industry event participation to include booth deliverables, signage, marketing literature, speaking engagements, and ancillary activities.
  • Hands-on involvement from pre-event management to post-event follow through
  • Coordinate logistics for audio / visual services, food and beverage, décor, setup / breakdown, and vendor management.
  • Onsite Management of events at both internal event spaces and external venues including national and international travel (NZ)
  • Manage and adhere to master event calendar and timelines.
  • Coordinate conference data collection and archiving.
  • Creation and distribution of conference registration website.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate event planning.
  • Ability to work equally well in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to interact with executives, internal staff, and external clients.
  • Self-starter who is an independent thinker, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task across different project and events in parallel.
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn programs as needed.
  • Knowledge of the finance industry is a plus.
